  1. I really appreciate the 3D volumes. It makes it so much clearer

  2. Hello Daniel,
Again, great rendered diagrams, but I would like to point out that as much appealing as they look, they rather seem a little less analytic.

The point of understanding massing volumes, is not just simplifying it to the closest basic solid form. The idea is to understand, if there is a certain standard form or lack of it, what is the inherent factor leading to the similar forms (like the rectangular box volumes for most sports complex) or is there a possibility of breaking away from the regular forms. The most logical explanation is the fact that most to the sports facilities have rectangular courts and grounds and hence organizing them eventually leads to a more cuboid form. Hence, if you need to or rather want to make an unconventional formally, how would you then address the volumetrics of the design.

Another aspect of studying volumetric aspects of design is to study the impact in relation to the site scale. Are the surroundings of these structures relatively open spaced, making this structure stand out and identifyable from a distance? Or do all the buildngs also have simialr vertical scale making this structure blend in? Or is this structure a relatively open spaced low rise compared to highrises around? Understanding the sizes and scales of volumes IN RELATION to the surrounding and hence, understanding its impact on the image of the structure will help you evolve strategies for your design based on what you intend to achieve through your structure besides it just being visually appealing.

Having said that, again really good diagrams, and seeing them a little more informative would add a lot more worth to them! Good job!
